Oil filter question

Hi all, need to change my oil soon been about 2000 miles, I am going to use millers cfs 10W40 but when it comes to external oil filter what do people use? I currently have a K&N but it just looks a bit boy racer.
The only high pressure ones I can see on sale are empi or fram, reading the reviews online about fram don't give you much confidence in them and the quality of the empi parts you can buy are shit so guessing the filters could be the same.
So any advice welcome

Golf TDI filters, apparently they are high pressure and use the same thread, that's what I'm using anyway! About £6 a go at EuroCarParts.
