I am looking at a propex heater and have a choice of two, one being the 1600 the other being the 2000, just wondering what experiance people have had with them, does the 1600 produce enough heat in your van?

saying that there is only £35 difference in teh price, but £35 is still £35

Where are you looking to get these from and how much? its something i'm also considering so i can use the van as my daily during the winter instead of running 3 cars (the bay, my daily and the wifes daily!)

I got a 1600, not fitted yet, but think about the size of your van (not that big) with a blast of nice toasty hot air, it wont take long to heat up. Perfect for winter camping :?

Just

my 1600 is /was good but had a shock sensor in so when driving hit a bump and it would turn of,prob better for just worming the bus while parked up

test ran the 1600 in my bus last november and quickly had to wind the windows down  seriously,

I would be more interested in a noise comparison between the two, anyone have any ideas? . obviously the 1600 uses less gas as well? :?

never realised these puppies were so expensive, what do they fetch secondhand?... think i'll stick to a duvet and the Mrs for warmth.

i dont think they are supose to be used while moving.

i think there usually fetch about £160 -£200on ebay

1600 is a lot older they are the same model thay went 16 18 then 2000 but thet are all the small propex buy the 2000 its also approved to use while driving
