In the early stages of restoring my Bay and I'm considering fitting deluxe trim. Its a cross-over year model built in 71 and registered in 72. Will probably sound like a goon asking this but what trim do I need? All shops selling it use a different product code from 1972. Don't want to get the wrong type and any help would be appreciated.

You want the stuff for an Earlybay, up to 72

With the early front and the late back I was not convinced that either kits would fit properly. I guess I should put something on the wanted page, maybe someone out there has an early front section and a late back section kicking around. Thanks for your help guys

I've just looked at a 70 and a 72 that are sat on the ramps next to each other and apart from a slight bevel change where the wing mirror fastens to the door on the 72 I cannot see any difference at all. so I'm not sure what the difference at the front is that Araon refers to??

Late bay deluxe trim doesnt sit on the swage so thers no chance of mix and match....

its identical in all respects early through to XO except for the very front trim pieces by the mirrors and of course they sometimes came with the front below screen trim ....
