rear hatch seal to glue or not?

chaps - I have installed a rear hatch seal from status which fits lovely...however whenever I open and close the hatch it pulls the seal out from the top. I'm presuming I'm going to have to glue the seal in...

What sort of glue have people used and recommend?

Use a spot of clear silicon, that should do the trick

Hi!

Used spray on carpet glue in a rattle tin. Did the trick - on the boot hatch - not engine lid, as clarkson says below!

Removable valence?? If so then gluing it in is not a good idea, as how will you get the valance out without ruining the seal?

i think he means the hatch and not the engine lid?.

if so then its ok to glue it in, i've also used carpet glue.

I use 3M Trim Adhesive, it's a bit messy if you're not careful but will outlast the bus in holding strength!
