Eventually i will be respraying my bus but wouldlike to know how much its gonna set me back wellin advance(saving time)

I know prices depend on how much paint is laid, whether its prepped well or not etc etc.

but what would be a ball park figure for a half decent paintjob inside and out.

What have you paid?

Thanks very much for all replies

My brother owns a body shop and I reckon yor looking at around the £2000 for a A+ job!

Hope this doesn't scare you off!

That would be through the business though. If he did a job as a foreigner he could knock off upto £800.

Do you know any one who sprays.

Maybe you could put something up on forums like VZi asking if anyone knows of anybody?

Yeah, i'm about 10 miles north of Crewe!

Pleased to help.

If you need anymore info let me know. My brother may know of somebody in that area!

Thought of coach painting :?:
Thread on Vzi which plods on about how to do it and shows alot of people that have (me included).

You can do the whole of the outside for less than a few hundred - like spraying, the more time
taken with the prep etc, the better the outcome :D

Just a thought

You have to take into account the other stuff, i.e new seals all round, new window rubbers etc
You also have to think about what could be uncovered, lots of holes are lurking underneath window rubbers

You can lower the price by stripping the van yourself and save more by prepping it yourself too.

Good point PW if you took the shell stripped and in primer you could half your costs.

Remember though, some body shops won't paint if you prime yourself?

Can't see any complaining if you took it in etch, would probably need filling and high building anyway.
