Sooooo..... Got some werk did on the bus today! Got the front tubs cut out and got the ride height set. It was nerve wracking making the first cut but it got morally easier as I went lol. Enjoy!

had to set the height according to my driveway so, here's a 3" cut-off wheel which sets the pit-man arm at 2" above the ground which so happens to be the height of the lip at the bottom of my driveway lol.

had to cut off the shock bolts, they bottomed out lol

and I'll have to further extend my c-notches so I dont funk my tie rods too bad

This will be the height for now, I'm planning a steering box raise in the future so I can go lower without all the unexpected left turns from hitting the drag link. But first, I need to weld in the tubs lol.

well got a little bit done today, work doesnt leave much time for progress.... and since its sunday, I couldn't go anywhere that sells pieces of sheet metal large enough to start welding the tubs in so instead I made cardboard templates. I'm just going to play it by ear for the top piece.

and cutting it close to the door....

rounding the corners off will help when putting back the top of the tub, then angle some sheet metal into the lower front arch

^thats what I was planning on doing, I was just going for a basic outline with the cardboard. I can trim and bend and funk shiz up from there...... :evil:
