we have two Nabi Fuhu's for the kids. Great thing about these is they have a child and adult mode. so you can lock them down for the kids to use. Once they go to bed. switch to adult mode and is a full blown Android ice cream sandwich 7" tablet
highly recommend if you have little ones

yes seen these.

AFAIK you can do this with any android tablet. If its not built in you can DL an App that lets you chose which apps the kids can use and locks everything else when you switch modes.

As an alternative look at a Samsung google chrome book, I know not a tablet but I got so fed up of the lack of business functionality on the ipad (attachments on emails etc etc) that I've just bought one and for the money its great, 11" screen, full size keyboard that I'm typing on now and android apps, plus online storage like apple, very impressed so far considering I have an Ipad 1, ipad 3, iphone 5 etc etc.

And the entry one comes in at £229 or something, one with a 3G card slot in it is £299 :)

The iPad is easy to use and great, but the kindle fire HD nothing I've seen beats it for sound and picture qualityit truly vgreat for that
