that and it was about 30 quid against 180 for a new floor section :lol: :lol:
 
Things are really moving now, most of the brakes are done, waiting on a couple of balljoints before the front goes back together

recon 1600sp turns up monday, tinware being repainted black

roof is now in paint, wheels, engine tin are now in primer

brakes all done and wheels painted, will be back on all 4 wheels once the brakes are all bled

still waiting on my replacement engine, my usual reliable, dependable engine builder :lol:

tinware needs painting, as do my bumpers. headliner going in next week, as will the window rubbers

all the electrics are working, just need a new ignition switch, as the old ones nackered
 
Looking really good, it's all about the deluxe beige buses.

He does like to take his time with the engine......... :(

having issues with my rubbers now, they wont bloody go in

my STATUS is i may have to get more from another supplier, as im hoping to get it motd this week, rubbers are holding up fitting the headliner now too
 
My engine arrives tonite, just had to reorder window rubbers for my side Windows, as the ones I had where crappy to fit

gary does the new headliner come with the covering from roof to the cards round the inside of the frames? if not are you replacing that at all?

just wondering as i want to do mine one day and my covering is pretty shot, i dont know if its available or you just have to get lengths of material and fit yourself?

the deluxe headlining kit comes with the matching material to do the inside bits
 
Wheels are back on, windows delayed due to rubbish rubbers, new ones arrived today

engine delayed, as the engine builder dropped it and cracked a fin :roll: so turning up tommorow now :roll:

few pics of the polished up og paint, mot next week, or the week after, as my welder/painter dudes off the france for a week
