Anyone know a source for an accurate reproduction of the Westfalia wood laminate?

I came across these guys who do the furniture, but does anyone do anything similar in the UK?

or do almost any colour various other patterns & grains ,face-lift existing westy interiors to look as new or build from scratch!

If you want to tackle it yourself the closest we found was 'American Cherry' from memory, you need to search for wood laminates, I think lathams was a stockist we found but it's been a few years since we had to source some.

"Colour ranges from golden yellow in the sapwood, to pinkish red in the heartwood."

The pinkish red at the bottom looks spot on!

The company I mentioned above, sent me this picture of their new westy laminate, the grain is identical..most likely a photograph is used to make this stuff.

Pity the photo is rubbish. They've had it made especially and will only supply repair panels or complete units, but it's probably a good option.

how did you cut and apply the laminate ?

Contact adhesive and then a sharp blade or router to trim the edge

As above, I sanded as much of the glue of as possible to give a flat surface, then applied the contact adhesive, I then placed a number of wood strips across the panels and laid the new laminate on top of those, then removed the wood strips one by one smoothing the laminate in place, once it had dried I route red the laminate. It takes a while but is worth it.
