Morning peeps, what`s everybody up to today then ?? I`m off to Worcester to hand in all my equipment as I`ve just packed in my job, that`s why I`m on here a bit at the moment, cause I got to use up some holidays, which is dead handy with all the cock ups I`ve been capable of on my bus lately. The job I`ve just packed in is a surveyor for cavity wall and loft insulation, shame really as it`s probably been one of the nicest and best jobs I`ve ever had, but with the recession and lack of grant funding (vastly reduced) it`s been a bit of a challenge / trial lately (read- no money). The end of the month I start my new jog working for British gas, lurking about in supermarkets, well Sainsburys actually and jumping out on unsuspectingpeeps and getting them back to Brirish Gas, read- bribing with nectar points etc.

Good luck with the new job, however can you post where you are going to be so I don't get jumped on by ozziedog.

In the workshop today trying to rectify some issues on a bus for a new customer :mrgreen: , if you think you are having trouble with your bus try getting 40 year old heater cables out of the channels in the chassis, not great fun :roll:

I notice you now have a 1000 posts and earlybay is your life now, well I think you win the award for the most entertaining posts so far, keep it up :lol:

Congrats on the new job Ozzie. I'm sat at work waiting for a Dell engineer to come and fix my laptop. Also trying to look busy and interested as I'm counting down the days till I leave. 7 weeks to go, this could be hard work

What am I doing today ? I have just e-mailed Johhny to see if he can stop notifications that I am using the forum popping up on my home computer .
Reason ? - I got home last night and my Mrs said "Busy day ? " and just as I started to give it the usual lines to gain a bit of sympathy in order to get some brownie points and permission to spend a bit more time working on my bus last night she said "How can you be busy if you've been on that bloody forum all day ? "

Seems like a lot of peeps are changing jobs at the mo! I handed my notice in a couple of weeks ago and finish at the end of the month, not certain what I will do next yet but i am pretty sure i will just blow my savings on the van and hopefully seeing some of Europe in it!
As for today... Lazy morning for me, a poxy 4 hour shift early afternoon followed by physio for my ankle this evening.

Well I`m back from Worcester for the last time and tossing up what to do for the rest of the day. I was hoping for a parcel from Machine 7 as the last time I tried to put the engine back in the bus, I broke the gland nut So I've ordered a new one and a bearing and a new washer to go with it. Might pop down to GSF and see if they got one over the counter. On the way back from there, I think it would be rather rude to go past my favourite cafe and not go in and sample their rather scrumptious jacket spud with chili and salad 8) or not cool as the case maybe. Or I could finish fitting Mrs Ozziedog`s new washing machine, I was only on that for about eight hours yesterday and still got to put the door on :roll: . Or I could clean off the remains of the old washing machine from the patio including my new barbeque Any body want the motor for anything ? free just pick it up. Or I could do the power wash the patio bit or new fence panels or the new loft ladder. I think we should have a vote as to what Ozziedog does this abbo. :? Great vote guys, and I`m going on your suggestion,,,,,, GSF and Gillians cafe wins by a vast majority !!!! (one) :lol: You lot are almost on my wavelength :roll:

Watch them B**tard at British Gas..... :evil: I used to do that job many moons ago! Make sure anyone you get to sign a contract fully understands it!!! When the mrs goes home and tells husband they have changed and he is not happy some of them say "he did not tell me it was a contract!" British gas never backed anyone up. Or they sign to get points and cancel on you.

It`s about 12 : 1 the ratio bud, so you have a pretty good chance of escaping my evil :evil: clutches. I have to wear the dreaded uniform as well, but I`ll have to work out a way of getting a blatant Early bay plug on the stand so that you`ll know it`s me. There was a photy on one thread that had a likeness of me playing with my nuts quite recently :lol: i`m not like this in real life though
