Use a K&N HP3001 filter, fairly inexpensive and rated for high pressure.
Thanks mate. I was a bit disappointed I couldn't catch up with you, Penny and the rest of the gang this year.I'm liking that very much Si, you've done a cracking job!
Looking good mate. What’s the front seats you have fitted?A few more jobs ticked off.
Teddy welded an AN-8 bung on the oil filler/breather, so that's now fitted.

Number plate light needs replacing, but the repro ones are poor quality and don't fit well,

so I found a lens in a box, gave my original one a clean up and reassembled it.

Didn't like the silver bolts, so gave them a bit of black paint.
Washer bottle all connected, so tried that.
Well, when I say all connected I obviously didn't mean the washer pipes....

Oh well, and the three nozzle jets look impressive but only reach the bottom of the screen. Back to the original single jet ones then.

A bit of carpet as a temporary measure until I decide what's going in permanently.

And Jono at Vintage Valley came up trumps with the last piece of trim.

Thanks mate, got a couple of running issues but I think it's jetting related.Just caught up on it all. Assuming it's moving under its own power now and you didn't push it up the yard. All great work and interesting to see your problem solving skills.
Said it before and will say it again.Your work effort puts me to shame. Still keep collecting bits, need to take your lead and crack on.
Fine on idle, but under load falls flat on it's face. What’s the running issue? If hector worked out the jetting out it will be right.
How much timing is put into it? Are the Carbs balanced and does the linkage open both carbs equal amounts at the same time? What jet stacks are in there?Fine on idle, but under load falls flat on its face.
