This is the solution to my moustache bar issue, black ceramic coated 1" 3/4 header from RJ volksperformance 8)

Hmmm could of but tbh I don't like the idea of taking that much metal off from around the mounting holes :?

Cheers for feedback though :)

 Don't worry Wig it's all in hand. Our mate Richard is fabricator and is gonna build the bar up so it goes between the collector pipes so it will be strong and look proper trick :D its also gonna be reinforced along the bottom too.

Looking good dude!

You and H better hurry up though, still need time to get mine pulled and new rockers fitted in time for Ninove14! ;)

Cheer Luke :)

Hector is on it hard now! He has 2 weeks off work now which is a lot more than me and is gonna get it done for me. I only have 25th, 26th & 1st off therefore I can't help as much :( So I've given him my paypal details and said if you need something just get it  He mentioned your motor Friday actually. I've still got a bit to do for Ninove but should manage it :)

To do list:

Get motor installed and run in
Wire up Auto-meter sports comp tacho and aux gauges
Install split charge system and power sockets
Drive it up to Norfolk so 61 Stu can tub it
And if I have the cash some adjustable spring plates

Back up the shop today!

Hector has modded the fook out of my engine bar!

A lot of work has gone into allowing me to run 1 on the bus but the power gained from a merged header can't be beaten plus I love the look of a big 'ol mondo muffler hanging out the back.

Nice bit of fabrication by you and Mr Howe!
How long until he can start tinkering on mine do you think?
You going down the cherry tree for new years? G said he was going so thinking we might head over for a couple of jars.

Cheers Lucas! :) Erm, best speak to the big fella yourself mate. Fitting rocker shafts ain't that hard, he may well do it in place. Yeah man, I'll head down if your all going 8)

With my bus so close to being ready to tear the local boy racers I thought I should elaborate on why I got Hector to build me a motor....

His '64 11 sec street/strip car

The heart of beast...

2276 94x82
Engle FK89 with 1.5:1 rockers
Hand ported by Hector 044 heads with 46x40 titanium valves
Italian 48 IDA's on big beef manifolds
Magneto fired ignition
Full balanced, blue printed and all the other engine building porn.

Terrifying :scared0016: but SO much fun

Rather a productive day at Hector's speed shop.

Excited doesn't really cover it...
