Dont take the bait mate, comman as muck around these parts. I think people buy them while looking at the front then get them home and have a good luck around and go "ooh **** we got the wrong one"

Just what thought when i got mine home, all exicted knowing that i had wrap around bumpers, small lights got around the back and BUGGER!

Still love the van though.

Got a late crosser abot 15th July 72.
So does this make me a late early or a early late.

Prehaps we should have a date list for all of our vans.

Dare i say it but as a pick up that arse end looks even worse if thats possible. I think its the lack of rear bodywork that makes the lights look even bigger.

I love these threads!

I was brought up with a crossover, bought new to the family when I was only 5, so to me the crossover was 'normal' with its larger rear lights and vents etc. I have to say, when the '73 model year came out, I do remember asking my dad if we could buy another new one, with the square bumpers!

I've owned three bays, my first two being lates, and my current a crossover. Oh for a lottery win! I expect my collection would comprise mainly of earlies, but with a few crossies thrown in, topped off with a couple of lates, such as a limited edition Silverfish model. 8)

The difference between this site and vzi is that we can take a joke and share a laugh and if it were to get personal our mods would lock it out long before the insults got out of hand.

as for vzi i'm on there too. sites are what you make of them i guess. right i'll put my bullet proof vest on now. don't get me wrong i'm no troll poster but i like a discussion every now and then
