busy at stanford this weekend

Hi all , been looking through some BMX sites and come across burnerworld which has the 2008 burner bash at stanford this weekend (3rd) alongside the notts and leics steam and county show (3rd to 5th) :shock: looks like stanford halls going to be busy . Ive never been to the vw show there before , is it the norm to have 2 events on at the same time .

Got to say I've never noticed any other event at Stanford Hall going on at the same time - the queues can be bad enough as it is (though i always go through Stanford village first - it's much better that way).

Quick google search - the steam & country show is at a Stanford Hall near Loughborough - don't go to that Stanford Hall :shock: . You want the one near Rugby & Lutterworth.

I'd guess the same for the Burner event. Burner's were always a bit crap IMO (I had a Night Burner as my first BMX) - I'm sure they wouldn't lower the tone of Stanford Hall with them anyway :wink:

I had more Super Tough Burners than i can care to remember, all debadged and nitromorsed to a lovely shiny finish. I ended up with a Skyways.

It seems Nitromous does wonders - got rid of everything you don't want and left you with the Skyways!

If you mean the Skyway ta, they were meant to be pretty good. I got an early Haro master after the Burner, so much better and still got it today (but boy, those rear stays are soooo skinny).

strange thing i heard was a bloke on his mobile calling his mate who was at stanford , asking him where he was because he drove to staMford instead of staNford he only realised when he asked a guy in a vw in a petrol station where the show was in staMford :lol: i bet he felt a right wally :lol: :lol: :lol:
