can anyone tell me about my van

after thinking all along that my van was originally the horrible green that i bought it in, it appears that the vin plate was moved when the bulkheads were removed at some point to fit swivel chairs in the front. then refitted on the b piller after the van was sprayed.

the vin plate reads 2212086849.

i also came across a number in the back of the van to the right of the engine

luckily these match. its just my luck that they would be different and i'd find that my van was a ringer or something

22 = microbus
1 = 1971 model year
2 = extra digit to show its a 1970s chassis
086849 = serial number

If you can find the M plate as well it'll reveal more info :wink:

Your best bet, as I recon the M-plate is missing in this instance is apply for a birth certificate on the VIN.....
