As some of you are proberly aware I'm getting a 2110 built in the new year, anyway I'm searching for a case and have been offered an AS41 for 80 quid. My question is that the case is from a 1300 TP, are these in principle the same as 1600 TP case and could it be machined and clearanced for 90.5's and 82mm crank?

Sorry for sounding thick haha!

I think as long as it's a dual relief case then you'll be fine. IIRC the earlier single relief cases
had narrower bore oil ways which I believe makes tem less suitable for big-bore, high stress engines.

Case savers?
must be dual relief.

I think he said it's dual relief but I dunno about the other things yet, I know thats all gotta be taken into account.

Snap it up if things are as people have already posted above, as new cases these days are £1020

Tell me about it! I had ordered a new AS41 cut for 90.5's but then got a phone call saying they were having supply issues
