I know I'm a bit slow on the uptake but my first Hayburner arrived today........good read and no more ads than my subscription I currently subscribe to!!!!!!
Not for long i think.

I dont bother with any of the other mainstream mags anymore - theyre so predictable and boring, but then maybe theyre geared at a different market??

I think Heyburner are missing a trick on renewals. However this thread prompted me to purchase another year...they don't email you as a reminder (that I have noticed) :msn4:

You don't need to resubscribe,

The subscription is a automatic recurring payment, The postage price once a year (unless you cancel through paypal)

Hope that makes sense.

We have had a few people ask recently so i'm guessing Paypal don't make things clear enough when you subscribe. I will have website updated to make things more self explanatory for the future.

Hi Ned sorry for the hijack,

i sent a message on the hayburner website, I renewed my subscription but I have moved just need to make sure the renewal is going to my right address as i have had no response, I know you must be busy trying to get the new issue out but I dont want to miss it as my re-direct is nolonger valid with the royal mail

We sell back issues through our web shop, we now hold around 1000 mags back each issue for this purpose. The reason Issue 2 became "rare" is because in the early days we handed them all out and did'nt keep any back for resale hence why they are all gone.

They are no longer fetching good money on ebay because every pikey in the scene jumped straight on ebay to sell their copy as soon as they saw our last copy go for £49

I don't really want them to ever be worth any thing, I always hoped as they are free people would have a read and then pass it on to a mate.

Its a strange business model I know, but as long as the scene keep supporting the mag we can carry on giving it away.

That's bang out of order selling back issues. Think I only got one free copy at a show, then subscriber and ordered back copy's and as issue two was sold out it then became a mission to find out why.
Any way on a brighter note a very big thank you to harlequin from here and an old friend from when I lived in London for sending me a copy. Nice one mate hope to catch up with you. See there are nice people on the vw scene

from a couple of years ago, if graham hasnt got you can have mine for free plus 49 quid postage. na really let me know and ill send it no bother.

ps theres a double pager with my junk in it i think so if ya run outta bog roll ya know which pages to use.
