Bit more progress this week on my bus (well these pics are from last weekend but I am a slacker and have only just got round to uploading them...

Front end work mainly, along with a new battery tray. The inner part of the front valance was damaged and no one could see it but it has still been cut out and repaired. I am still getting regular text updates through out the week :)

The reflector holes have been welded up along with the side electric hook up hole as requested.

:) They certainly know their oninions... Not long until she comes home.

I am not sure who is more excited. My son went with my after new year to look at the damage and cant wait. My 3 year old daughter keeps asking when poppy is home. And the wife has just threatened me with death if its not ready for camper Jam.

Great work going on, and so good that they photograph it all for you resto portfolio.. Top mark to MP..

Jesus it has been forever since I updated this thread. Apologies to the Staurt and Drew at midlands as they have continued to upload pictures for me I have just been so busy at work and things going on at home that I've not been able to spend the time to resize them all and get them uploaded.

So what's been happening...

As you look at the pics I have had the rear reversing lights welded up, power socket hole on the side has gone, side markers deleted. Going for the smooth look. That was the easy stuff.

Due to past accident damage and 15mm of filler in pretty much the front half of the bus the guys have been very very busy. As you can see from the pics there have been new a pillars fitted, lots of work on the b pillar, cutting and welding of the front arches, cutting and welding of the doors, lots of work to get the sliding door to fit. New cab floor. New lower valance, work around the lower windscreen.

That's not to mention removing the dents in the roof at the front and matching one at the back to get it all lined up. Work on the gutters. Fixing the rear dent where the engine cover was damaged.

Any way I will let the pics do the talking. Needless to say amazing work.

It is currently in primer waiting for the final prep work and then top coat :)

I think I saw your new garage on fb?
Hope it all went well.
Pics look good , I'm not to sure if they all loaded tbh ???????????

Wow, that's a lot of work. I am impressed only I just pray that when I get mine it won't turn out the same. At least you know what you've got now and that's a proper job :D
