I got a bit exited today so bought myself a new engine case, in the form of a CB performance Aluminium case, I also bought a new 82mm crank, both of which are at Stateside Performance being fettled, crank, clutch, flywheel and pulley are being balanced, and case is being machined for the oil cooler.

Looking forward to getting it back from Stateside and built up, probably just in time for the end of the season

I thought I would update this thread with some of my engine build photos, Its been a long process and I'm still quite far off but here is a bit of an update btw its a 2110

New CB Aluminium case

Webcam cam (not sure of duration)

CB rods 5.500

non lightened 8 dowelled flywheel

Stage one clutch

8mm Chromo studs

94mm barrels and pistons

Forged crank

some work done to the case to get it ready for the build

Still plenty to do, but I'm getting there, fetteling the case has taken so much time, but I'm sure it will be worth it

So today, I treated the old girl to a shiny new back box

I had a look at the off the shelf systems, but nothing really did it for me, so I opted for a custom long life system
