So what have you lot promisied to do / not do in the new year ???
I`m going to get the top half of the bus around the windows sorted out, and I might try and get all the bit`s sorted so there is no gaffer tape for the next mot  Might even try and get some sounds sorted as well, even thogh a couple of decades have passed me by in the ice scenario ;)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,, The best laid plans of mice,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Me too ozzie
windscreen lower repair as i'm now fed up with bailing water out of my cab every time it rains
also change my wheels put my new bling truck mirrors on(which i got before the group buy (cost me $120)
and get to more shows

have a good one dudes

My resolution is not to do a resolution this time.........

Or - get the bloody thing MOT'd this year - only downside will be lack of funds.

Here's to a good 2012 for everyone

loose three stone

get engine running right

sort the inside of my bus

get out camping

that should do for now (and the next three years)

Got a couple.
Loose weight  . Im 37 and always been about 9 1/2 to 10 stone wet through, not megga skinny but no lumps and bumps either.
Think my age is catching up. Got a big fat tum and gone a funny shape since giving up smoking about 2 months ago. Will sort that as my missus is taking the piss BIG TIME!!!

Also. Been a mechanic for almost 21 years now and want to try something new. Not ideal times i know.
Went to college this year and got qualified in another totaly different trade all together. And even have a job lined up. Going to jump ship at some point but need to wait till the time is right, money etc.......
This was my new years resolution this year but i didnt quite make it. So hoping a career change will be a new years resolution by this time next year.

Gotta wait for the weather to buck up a little, then it's finish the vans interior and then I can start on the bug again! Needs a spot of welding and some custom stuff sorting (air ride, lightened panels) and build a couple of engines. Bit of a street warrior theme going on with that one! Can't wait!

Unfortunately I'm on call this weekend so no fun n frolics for me, but here's to a happy new year all the same!

Seems there are a few weight issues  If we can sort some of these it may make the busses quicker which is rather 8) If I lost a few stones, I`d probably get better mpg as well :msn4: Getting to as many shows / events this year is rearing it`s head as well, and there`s nowt wrong with that  Not sure of the first ones but someone will always point me in the right direction, speaking of direction, a change in direction career wise,,,,,,,,, now that`s a biggy, that`s what I did this year and I did completely the wrong thing first off then changed again and possibly one of the best things I`ve done  Now I raise sponsorships for the guide dogs to help blind peeps which is furry king 8) and I love going to work again now  Now selling a split to get an early,,,, well that`s quite a biggy as well, let`s hope it works out for you,,, it should !! As for finishing busses, well that`s a personal thing, and so long as mine`s running ok, and I can get to the shows, then that`s brill and all I really want. As far as interiors go,, been following a few , but so long as I got a bed and a steady supply of cold ones, I`m pretty much sorted  Still looking for final inspiration with interiors, Like Zeds resto and yes I`m thinking curves but in a different way to him, but I don`t think I`ll be at that stage this year ;) So just get em running and see you at the shows

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, If I`m allowed  ;)

Mine is to enjoy life more go with the flow and not worry about things so much. :D

And get this magazine finished on time

Well ozzie for the weight thing, im a big lad at 6'5" and a bit but i stepped on the scales at the outlaws the other day and im in at 19 st 3!!!
Tbh ive gained the weight since i left the motortrade and joined the highways agency as im sat on my arse for most of the day with the odd chance of running around like a loon for about 5 mins

Oh and as many moons ago i trained as a chef, i can cook....... I like food too :msn4:
So diet it is as 38" waist jeans are no good on a 34yr old lad

Just bought a BMX too so need to rebuild that for next year!
Dont want my 4yr old to learn the phrase silly fat twat from other kids observing my freestyle ramp work at the local park

   ^^^   ,, 38" is a thing from my distant memory

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, SO!!!!! Where is he supposed to learn it ???

Guess I will join in with the weight thing as well.

And to get to some shows to meet up with all you guys - I've got a bus I am so proud of, and reckon I should show it off :D

Happy New Year everyone.

Hey Nick B,,, We are all proud of our busses, and possibly for different reasons  Yours sounds like a dream and I hope to hook up with you (over a beer of course) at one of the shows  Now if you got a bit of a weight issue, you may need to come to the gym wih me,, raise glass to lips  lower ever so gently,, repeat as often as required, ;)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,, Fitness instructor to the Stella heads  ;)

try not to eatlike ozzie   think we all could do with losing a few LB (not £!!!) get my lads golf sorted so i can get that beetle finished ,5 years +so far,so i can sell it and spend some on the bus.but finding a job is first

Did the weight thing last year ;)
Lost over 5 stone & went from a 42inch waist to a 34 & never felt better!!
Trained and completed a sprint triathlon which was huge for me as I couldn't swim when i started (nor run lol), I now swim ~1km most mornings before work now and run at lunchtimes.

This year is the year of actually finishing the things I've started on my bus and also using it for what it was intended.....
(I hope!)

Having spent far too much (much more than planned) on the resto this winter, getting out and about camping in 2012 is a must, or Mrs delilah will not be at all happy.

I have an eye on Ireland but the cost of the crossing puts me off. Grateful for any tips.

Should the first and last meeting of the year be at a weighbridge ... for a collective weigh in

Is there one by the American Diner??

And that is why it would have to be a heavy duty weighbridge  8) There aren`t many things that I`m really good at,, you know what I mean as in world class :p but eating,, yes eating,, I`m not only world class but I reckon I could show them Martians a thing or two about sorting out gravitational pull ;)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,, And guess what the other one is  ;)

Hey Ozziedog

Already started on the fitness regime.

After a tough day sanding 40 year old bits of plywood :D i feel I am justified in following your instructions.

The beer has been poured.

Will get some more pics up on my thread in January.
