You can't hurry these things ;) :lol: I know what it's like with the working away scenario :? I used to lodge away every week for years repairing boilers in prisons mon-fri and by the time you get back un pack had a few to unwind, fussed the wife and kids its Sunday afternoon again and you're packing to go back Monday morning :?

At least you're getting there even if it is slowly every weld, is a weld closer to completion 8)

Replacing the bottom 9" all
Around! Cannot believe the what's
Been done to it! Some ********!
Made a compleat bodge of everything :evil:
It's a real money pit!

So there you have it your not alone :lol:
Will it be worth it! Yes :D

Pain being away a lot, but - allows me to dream and think about what I need to do - stops me rushing in and making a serious bodge job of it ;)

Grab a few hours today so started putting the back nearside quarter in :D

Started by doing the plug welds then the seam welds of the main chassis followed by the pillar going up.
A few pics as we know you all like them ;)

Today decided to join the body panels together.

So. Not the neatest but will do the job:

Wasted 4 hours today trying to get a good weld with a gap of about half an inch.... :evil:
Decided to cut out a quarter of an inch out of each of the panels and fill the gap with an a new piece....

Sun started to come round and stopped my auto tint visor from working so raided the garage:

Put some paint on the repaired chassis and pleased as punch how it came out.

Hi Andy. I read all through your thread last night. I now I am tipping my hat in respect. Good work! I have nothing but admiration for anybody who can tackle projects like yours. Well done. Looking forward to seeing the progress and results. :D
