Adjusted the cab doors to afford some top clearance for the gutter brackets on my 'new' roof rack. And all because the missus wanted the spare wheel out of the back of the bus to create more usable space. I had to chop the roof rack a bit to fit the wheel in, but it has worked a treat. :D

Decided to remove speedo head and try and fix it, as it reads 90 mph going up hill...

no seriously spare dissy cap points condensor fan belt and a carb refurb kit.

Not much done on the bus except new wiring and terminals and fitted a nice new amp in the back for my subs! boom boom!

Took Mr B. to Atomic in MK to have the alignment sorted.

Have had it done at a couple of different local garages that "knew what they were doing", but unfortunately they clearly did not (the RED9 wishbone confused them I think).

I have had my daily aligned by the sister company to Atomic, Wheels in Motion in Chesham, they were able to sort out in 30 mins what V.A.G. failed to do in 6 months.

Things are all good now, uneven tyre wear a thing of the past.

This place is almost cleaner than my kitchen !

While this was strictly not today :msn4: , last week I fitted my new poptop canvas.

Wolfsberg West, supplied by Heritage - excellent quality.

2 days later (after calming down) I refitted it the correct way round!!!

I only realised it was the wrong way round when I had about 3 screws left on the ali roof strips to go - yes I had (in my head) just said ' you have done a good job here, well done, enjoy a cold beer tonight'.

whipped it out, polished it and put it back, did notice some surface rust in a tiny exposed scratch. The thought of painting over original paint frightens me.

spent hours replacing adjustable springplates for stock ones, had to crack off rear drums cos id put the handbrake cable through the adj plates. oh and you have to remove the solid brake line to get it back through the hole in the std plates - anyway all done and brakes adjusted and bled only to find the bus is higher on the right
Any fat chicks want a ride shutgun to stonor
