Collected a dash pod&gauges, exhaust, some wheels,(two of mine weren't even vw ones, one was a 14" dunno, the other a 15" merc wheel) some ratty hubcaps(better than no hubcaps)dash switches,door mirror, shocks and wella flourescent interior lamp off a friend who scrapped his camper 15 rs ago and had a garage full of bits. Could have an engine and box too.

Waterproofed the pop top with Febsil and then fitted the new black and silver number plates.

Made an insulated foil wrap for the pop top.... Used some laminate foam underlay as a template then used the foil blanket left over from insulating the panels in the camper. Finished off by duct taping the edges.
Camping next weekend so we'll see if there's any improvement, even I felt the cold at Bus-Types a few weeks ago.

An hour with the autosol on some rusty hub caps, full polish and valet! Then went to the Morrisons in it to do the "big Shop"

Finished putting in my door card/panels today, all I need is my rear upholstery now and I'm ready for summer

Fitted my overhead locker and a new rear window seal which my mother in law kindly helped me with !! She took time out from doing my cleaning and gardening to lend a hand 8)

Bought the continental bed brkts from faux and went about making the bed for the ever growing kids :roll:
lovely day for it 8)

Also fitted some more bling not great pictures but its the chrome wipers :roll:

I was up early this morning so I jacked the old girl up and sorted my gear change rod out as I couldn't get reverse yesterday and the gears tick went a bit floppy today found the pinch bolt on the rod had backed off hence gear change problems
I then did this

The old card was rotten,I did try to glue the old vinyl on but it looked ****
Then put this on not sure about it though

And a cheeky little glimpse of my shiny truck mirrors
