Im a member of the big wheels club ! I drive around in "BIG STINKY" all day which does its best to look like the jeepers creepers motor :shock: Put basically I drive a class 2 skip truck.And its not that bad a living other than it interrupts my veedub time :wink:
 
I'm a newspaper sub-editor. I rewrite stories, design pages, check copy for legal issues, spelling, grammer etc.
I also used to teach snowboarding but I gave it up so I had more time to ride.
I also help out a lot of my mates with their VWs.

im a motor trader and vehicle importer , also known to be a valeter , cycle builder , and general player about with owt thats got wheels and an engine :lol: and been known to play around with interiors of big long american vehicles with blacked out windows 8)
 
I'm a real life Homer Simpson, in the nuclear industry known as a Reactor desk engineer. Its not all dougnuts and Duff beer though.......doh !!!

We do have some staff that resemble some of the Simpsons, Ned flanders and Mr Burns...

Very good job though and allows me to put time and money into my bus
 
I'm a lab technician at the Delft University of Aerospace Engineering. Basically I perform mechanical tests on various composite materials as well as aluminium alloys. I'm getting paid to break stuff and I love it! :twisted: 8)
 
I work for the Ministry of Defence .... deputy General Manager of the UKs' only military vehicle storage depot.
 
I work as an office manager for Soccer City who run a series of indoor 5-a-side football centres in West Yorkshire. Involves telling other people know how to do their job! Also means I get to sit at a desk all day and search the EB website!
 
I'm a 'Work Flow Specialist' for a Large multi national newspaper group, basically data management. Worked in the Northern Ireland Parliament for a while then an Ad agency in digital design and web development.

I dont mind the job as i sit and wait for things to go tits up and fix them, gives me time to surf and do a few homers in between.

I had a few interesting jobs one of which was with ICI as a R&D Biochemist. Worked on a deepsea trawler catching big fish for pocket money once, but id rather being doing something like Scott or Prof wheeto living the dream :D
 
Electrician, maintaining and installing streetlights at the moment. It's an OK job, nice and easy and i finish early most days so i can go home and play with my van :)
 
I'm a production manager in the events industry, mainly working on conferences. I'm responsible for the install/derig of all the technical bits on site (Video/Sound/Lighting etc) and making sure it all runs smoothly on the day.

Worked in the industry since I left college 24 years ago so know nothing different, long hours and the pay is OK. Run my own business so can't complain (means I was able to buy a T5 as my daily hack)
 
Im a sales manager for an office equipment company.....have been selling for the past 20 odd years.......the money is good but lots of pressure (especially at the end of the month...targets to hit etc) :( Im fed up with the job but dont know what else to do which would pay enough to keep the mortgage and bills paid. Oh well, at least it adds money to the VW pit :D
 
I'm now running a Paintball site. potentially we are open 365 days a year, hence looking at moving my bus on. Summer is the mad time of year, i get 1 weekend in 7 off, whereas winter, obviously less people want to run around a wood getting shot, so all the time in the world.

Hey ho, it doesn't feel like a job!
 
Run my own thing as a self employed Carpenter,and before that spent too many years as a panel beater and sprayer for a vw franchise.
Like to still keep my hand in thats why ive got a uk bus :D
 
I work for a retailer as a manager in the distribution warehouse been there 20 yrs :shock: used to be a chef though, currently working on risk assesment and safe systems of work :roll:
 
I work for myself as a mobile mechanic,although I also share a workshop with my mate whos a trader and also my poorly dormobile in the corner.I work on modern cars mostly,working on the old VW stuff by doing my own ones.I love my job and wouldn't consider doing anything else. :D Speaking of which I must get that Jag X type engine back in See ya.
 
Able bodied Seaman in the Merchant Navy. Done it for too long now (since i left school) Used to love it when i was younger but the industry has changed and its now very much just a job to me.
Travelled the world and done some truly amazing things that i would never have done otherwise, but family come first now.
Good points...........I only work 6 months of a year and for this the money is OK
Bad points.............I work away from my family for 6 months and for this the money is not enough!

Worked for afew different companys over the years but at the moment i work for Trinity House, maintaining Buoys and Lighthouses around the UK coast. Its looked upon as a good job in my trade, thats why i applied but im not sure if its for me to be honest. Watch this space.
