OK , so Ninove 2013 i got a stone chip in screen resulting in me needing a new screen , but i knew i also needed work doing on the windscreen recess i couldn't afford all work until now ,

So I got myself some new parts !

Took the van to Dan at Buswerx in Suffolk for the surgery

Ok so been a little while since my last update but i have been busy

Decided to do some work on the interior :oops:

I have had these walk-thru pads for quite a while , They came from the infamous Ego Trippins bus so thats got to score me scene points :msn4:

I put the rubber upstand mats in too

Then i fitted the trim panels which were made to match interior
 
I was driving the van before Aircooled 14 and it screeched and the "G" light came on so i stopped in a hurry ,
It seems the alternator had seized solid :shock:

Thanks to Alex from VW Heritage for the advice regarding a new pulley ,

Thanks to 61 stu for the loan of a new alternator

And BIG thanks to K@rlos off here who put it all together in time for Aircooled 14
 
Soooo to this month , and its MOT time !!! :?

I knew from last years advisories it needed the brakes looking at so between K@rlos and me we have done the lot

On the rear , New shoes and New Handbrake cables

The rear shoes appear to have been "On" all the time

Better , Note i will NEVER use GSF for brake parts again as they dont know the difference between front and rear , Or bay and beetle

So after doing the rears together , In the wet , i set about doing the front ;)

New Shoes , New hard lines , New Flexi pipes , New drums ( Thanks Whistler ) New bearings etc
