Can you spot the difference?........

Took it for a quick clandestine spin in the street :msn4:
Brakes are terrible but need adjusting and bleeding. After 5 attempts and pulling my hair out I have re energised the replacement genny for one final time tonight aaaaand.... Boom! Working like a good'un!! 8)
So that's another thing off the list.
Engine rear main seal changed but still weeping a little which is a bigger but to be fair it's not the first time I've heard of it happening!
Once it's on the road I'll pull the motor again and chuck a fresh one in with some help from Bob (dustrat) 8)

I need to do my rear main too! Bought a re-con engine off a guy on vzi, saw it running and seemed OK but by the time it's fitted to my bus the rear mine is weeping! Nothing too stressful though...

Looking good so far, when's the MOT?!

Yeah so today was mostly spent breakdancing.... It passed its mot 8)
Booked in tomorrow to have the timing fettled and a couple of other bits doing while it's on the ramp as, if I'm honest, my back has give out on me working on it in the back garden and climbing up and down all the time
Still, it's interior time next and I've something special lined up which my old man is helping with..... Oh and plenty of pictures will be taken during that bit ;)

Pleased for you about the MOT pass 8)
Looking forward to the interior build

Slamming is bloody expensive! Everything I think 'I could afford drop spindles and adjustable spring plates' I find another 10 things that take higher priority! Maybe one day...

Instead of slamming it, why not raise the paving slabs in ya back garden... That will work out cheaper!

Well the DVLA has finally sent me the V55/5 so that's all filled in...... Well, as filled in as I can with the info I have!
So, tomorrow I'll photocopy everything and send it away and keep everything crossed
I was contemplating disclosing my profession to them in a pleasant phone call and see if I could get a little professional courtesy.... But I think there is more chance of them leaving it at the bottom of the pile working for the DFT

They were great with my v55/5, I sent an SAE and asked really politely if they could send all my original docs including the US title back and they did, just wrote the UK reg on it and stamped it so it couldn't be used again. Didn't want to lose it!

Only took about 10 days for mine to come!

So I'm not painting the whole can till at least the winter. I hate the bra on the front to hide the ugly damage so......

Attacked it with the DA and then hammered a few bits out and in, followed by what is reasonable to class as an Heroic amount of the good stuff by my pal Daz

I'm on nightshifts at present so when I rise from my pit tomorrow lunchtime I shall DA it smooth and roller on some colour to stop it scaring the children when driving it :msn4:
