Smoke from the rear and dumped oil. Whats the prognosis?

Just ground to a halt on the a27
Losing power then smoke from the rear. Opened the engine lid to find oil splashed everywhere and also up the back of the van. Little puddle of oil on the road now. What do you reckon?

Could be a few things, where's the smoke coming from?
Could be rings or holed piston if smoke from oil filler or breather but really need more info as it could be an oil leak but loss of power suggests something more serious

Found chunks of engine in the back so def serious on this occasion
Looks like a new engine then!
