Few more pics (I promise I won't put too many more of these up  )
The new loom with feeds that go off to the starter etc, one "power branch" goes to the front for the fuse box, ignition etc and another branch goes to the rear as I've also got an additional fuse box in the engine bay.

All cable ties trimmed and plenty of heat shrink wrap

On to the main fuse box at the weekend and also a bit of a clean up around where the loom is going. :D

Hey bud, just read through your thread! Great skill and an awesome bus. Now following the thread in my posts.

Can't belIeve the mess made by the professional wiring guy

It seems you are doing a lot of the loom changes I am planning too. Keep us updated on how youre getting on chap. 8)

Also, you have made me re-think my dash set-up. I will have to try and find a solution to the reflection of the dash lights at night too.. :?

Cheers for the comments dude. It would be fair to say I've done a large amount of addition to my loom so anything I can do to help in your quest let me know and I'll try to help.

The problem with the dash was trying to get the gauges deep enough with out fowling the dash / column support frames. One idea I had over the weekend could be to try and extend the soft (ish) bolt on ridge the sits between the two parts of the dash. I'm not sure if would fowl the steering wheel though. It could be a really subtle way of making a bit of a peak that manages to stop the reflection. Just a thought.

Not seen this thread before, lovely bus and great work, cant wait to see more pics

Love the engine bay ;)

Cheers bud, been a bit slack the last month, hoping to put a long day in at the weekend and finally get the rear loom and rear fuse box sorted :)

Finally got the rear fuse box wired and fitted. Got to do some continuity testing before I can move on to the main loom. Next up is to replace the sound deadening in the roof of the engine bay and install fire extinguisher.

Nice dude.

Are they boxes from AES? I was going to order some from them. :)

What's that box the battery is going to with 'Main' and 'Aux' on it?

Can't quite remember where the boxes came from, it was either AES Or Vehicle Wiring Supplies. I have dealt with both and both are excellent. If you do decide to buy from either, check with me first that I don't have some spares. The bus bar for example is really long and I didn't use anywhere near all of it, I'd be happy to let you have most of what's left.

The other box is a very heavy duty intelligent split charger. To be honest it's a bit overkill but I wanted something a bit more reliable than the standard £20 job from JK. I'm running (or at least will be) about 1kW of audio and I want it all to work well.

Top man, ill be camping next to you then fella 8)

Yah, I was trying to work out how to do it using toggle switches and found it difficult. Most circuits seem to go through the light switch and emergency fkasher relay :|

You can do it without, I've got a wiring schematic for the circuit you need for the indicators and hazard. Are you gonna use LED lamps in the indicators? As for the lights I'm not sure but I doubt it's too hard to figure. The VW switch basically saves you from having two switches and the main beam is activated by the switch on the steering column to operate a relay. Having said all that it's exactly why I kept the OG's. I'll scan the diagram when I get home from work, don't wait up though wont be home till at least 11 tonight.

Thanks dude, Toggles would be great, but I'll have to see how complicated the schematic is. :|
